A Dream

The water runs out while I'm in the shower,
My head covered in bubbly shampoo.
I look, and behold, I'm still wearing my clothes!
Oh, what in the world should I do?

Next scene, I am naked, where are my clothes now?
I'm hiding, avoiding all looks;
I'm ten minutes late, the teacher's irate
And I can't find my locker or books.

Do you feel as if you're always running behind? Just a thought. It seems to aggrivate you when it affects you personally, but is totally embarrasing when everyone knows it's your tardiness that held them up. I would also say you might have felt this way since high school.

I love this armchair analysis stuff(grin).

This is caused by what medical doctors call: public phobicnuditis

Rest easy though Seeker, it is curable.

You just have to eat your pillow.

Has anyone ever had one of those dreams, or am I alone in my madness?

Oh, those humiliating, naked dreams. I've had dreams where I'm on the toilet and suddenly there's people all around me watching me. It is awful!!!!

I wonder what this says about me...my dreams are about me trying to prevent an injustice through persuasion.

All I can say is, I'm glad most of our dreams are only dreams.
My sister reminded me today of those cool dreams where you can fly like a bird. I love those dreams!

I've decided that's not so much a dream that needs interpreting as it is the beginning of a new rhyming story that jenn the artist from new york can begin thinking of ideas for llustration.
You will get the next few verses tonight. and I will contact jenn the artist from new york.

OK now I get it... I had to figure out what Uncle Joe was talking about so I came here...

Hmmm... that's an interesting one. The second half is a standard dream that we all have, but the beginning... the beginning is the reverse of that dream, dreaming to be wearing clothes when you should be naked... that is very interesting. very very interesting.

Thanks for dropping my site. The poem you left was great - Thank You.
Now about your poem - I have no idea what that could mean. I might add I'm glad I don't

I've been meaning to ask, is Harvest Bible Church your church?

  • At 1/03/2006 9:43 AM, Blogger Seeker said…

Harvest isn't our church, but we like Pastor James's preaching/teaching. Sometimes we go to their Saturday evening service.
    Our church is www.nwfbc.org
It's not the best website, but will give you an idea of our ministries.

That was a good website. Our church doesn't have one yet. Still trying to convince the pastor that we need one.
I am sending the CD out today. I hope you will like it. We got to see this group live in Ft. Smith Arkansas around Christmastime. They sound better live of course, but the talent and anointing of this family blew us away.

This is a nice poem. A little scary to tell? (If it is a real dream.)
I wouldn't begin to interpret the first part. I can't remember ever dreaming of being naked.
They tell me the second verse connotates a common problem of being late. I was a whole semester minus one test late for class in my 'used to be' dream.
My other 'used to be' dream was being lost, again in college. That was the college I couldn't finish.
My dreams aren't memorable in my old age now.
    Our church Web site is
    http://www.fbcconroe.org/templates/cusconroe/default.asp?id=30201
    I co-teach an adult 70+ coed class.
