Who Said That?!

I came home from work and noticed the smoke detector on the kitchen counter, with the battery taken out of it. Jason had brought the kids over for the evening while Karina went to a meeting, and apparently their pizza in the oven set off the smoke detector. And everyone knows, the quickest way to make it stop is to remove the battery. Reiley told me, "It wasn't functioning. It was alarming!" Pretty soon he'll even know how to spell those words...

NOT Camera Shy

Reiley decided recently that he wants to wear big-boy underwear, especially the ones with Bob the Builder on them, and has been giving potty-training a(nother) try. Luke (ever-observant) decided to try out the little potty chair on his own. There he was, fully-clothed, sitting on the throne, probably waiting for it to play music like it's supposed to do...
"Karina, look how cute..."
Luke got up and started heading for the other room.
"...Where's your camera? You should've gotten a picture of that.", I completed my thought.

I called Daniel tonight to find out if Josiah is getting a brother or a sister in July. After he told me, I tried to find out what names they're considering, but he said they have to keep something secret.

But he will be bringing his mom and dad for a visit this weekend.
