Celebrating 120 Years

Today is PR's birthday. Happy Birthday, Sweetie!

Last night we met up with my two sisters and their husbands for a dinner at the Olive Garden. No, PR isn't quite 120 years old... my brother-in-law, Phil, has his birthday on Monday, so we were paying tribute to both of them.

Four Months Old

Tomorrow the girls will be four months old.

Finally!

It's been Spring, according to the calendar, for almost 4 weeks. Somebody finally told the trees.
I think this is an ornamental pear tree (?)
We have 3 of these in our yard. This is the smallest, and the first one to blossom.
You will notice that no one ever has to tell the dandelions it's Spring.

Life With PR

PR began, "I see the Cubs play the Cardinals today."

I asked, "Is is a home game?"

He paused briefly. Then replied, "It is for someone."

Pretty in Pink

Kate and Madison came over for a few hours today. They posed very nicely for a few pictures, and then spent the rest of the time wanting to be held and fed. Good thing Papi was home to lend a hand... or two.

See You Later

Daniel and Andrea came to pick up Josiah yesterday, and return to Chicago.
Time to go home.

(We have never had such a quiet Easter morning...)

A Boy and a Ball

Maybe I can throw it over this tree.
Nope.
Hey, I know.... over the fence!
Aha! See what I did?!
Hey, how 'bout a little help here?
Better take this naughty ball inside so it doesn't escape anymore.

Visitors!

Today we received the long-awaited visit of my sister Paula and her husband, Steven. They finally got to meet Luke and the twins. The last time they saw Reiley, he was 9 months old.
Luke has a bandaid on his forehead... he had an accidental meeting with the coffee table last night.
They brought gifts for the kids. Reiley got binoculars. Maybe he'll get interested in bird-watching, like great uncle Steven.Kate gave gr-auntie Paula a warm welcome.
Madison was a bit gentler in her approach.
Paula and Steven treated us to the pizza buffet at Angelo's. (yummy)
Also joining the party were Andrea and Josiah, from Chicago. Josiah will be staying with us for a few days, while Daniel and Andrea have a little vacation someplace tropical.
Gr-uncle Steven and Josiah doodled.
