Overheard at a church: "I don't like to complain, but..."

Here's a little quiz. What was the topic of Sunday's sermon? Its application? The Bible passage from which it was preached?

I know, it's Wednesday. Maybe this quiz would've been easier on Sunday afternoon.
Maybe.

Why is it so easy to remember the mistake the pianist made, or the fact that the guitar player didn't smile or sing along on any of the songs, or the lady, one pew back, who should've stayed at home with her cough, or even the pastor's argyle socks? (Not that there's anything wrong with argyle socks.)
I'm posing these questions as rhetorical.

And the quiz is optional.

My answers to the rhetorical questions are rhetorical. As soon as I can make them up.
Sermon quiz: Topic was God is: (a God of)Just--a sense of rightness--Justice.
That was part of a series, the first was'Holy', then 'Love', now 'Just'.
Preacher Man feels preachers should preach God's Justice (Hell) as well as God's love. He did it pretty well Sunday.
    Scripture was Ezekiel 34:15-17.

Do you think I took a few notes?

That is an easy one. If we listened to the sermon we might discover something wrong with us instead of other people.

it's easy for a lot of people to see the faults of others than seeing their own. :(

are you saying these are observations you made? if i'm in church, i have to keep my head down and take notes, or i start looking around me and noticing all these things instead of paying attention. by nature i'm a people watcher, and i cant seem to stop. even with my head down, i'm thinking, "take that crying kid out, why is that person wearing cologne that permeates the next planet, or why is that person not taking a cough drop". i am hypersensitive to noises, and smells, and if they are happening, they distract me horribly. maybe i have ADHD
