Boring Lunch?

Maybe Madison would have stayed awake for a bowl of ice cream...

Reiley-ism

Recently, on an especially trying day, Reiley was exhibiting typical, childish, 3-year-old behavior. Karina thought he could be a bit more helpful, and, stressing the fact that in a couple of months he'd be having a birthday thus being a "big boy", she asked him, "How old are we, anyway?!" He smiled and replied, "You are six and I am seven." Sometimes you just have to laugh out loud.

Madison is Walking!

Practice makes perfect...
...across the room...
...navigating the turn...
...and back the other way! Yay!

Ho Ho Ho

I was gathering Mark's laundry from his room today, and came across his Christmas stocking... still full of candy. He never did have much of a sweet tooth.
But, remember that tradition of getting an orange in the toe of your stocking? I guess he didn't even want the orange this Christmas...

The Rest of My Day "Off"

Kate likes to empty the cupboards...
...and the toy basket.
Madison took the second half of her afternoon nap on the living room floor.
Scrub-a-dub-dubbing...
Madison wins the diaper races.
Time for a duet.

And a solo by Kate.
Watching Veggie Tales with Papi. One more bottle, then... BEDTIME!

My Day "Off"

This is how my day started:

We get to babysit the girls while Karina and Jason have a 32-hour getaway to Chicago. The boys are with Nanie and Papa.
Morning milk time.... then naps!

Hurry home from work, Papi.
Whew.
